The EAA Chapter 838 Board of Directors believes that the joy of flying and careers related to aviation are worthy of our support and encouragement. We’d like to help supply a number of well-trained and highly motivated professionals to the aviation community.

We are Chapter 838 members. We are pilots and non-flying supporters. We are mentors. We are volunteers. Or we might be non-flying supporters who understand the social value of promoting more students into STEM-based aviation careers. We are people that can be mentors to students. We are volunteers. We are here to assist students and parents to fully understand the amount of time, study, and hard work that will be required to stay abreast of-and complete this field of education.
According to PilotInstitute.com, the average cost to become a private pilot is $10,000. That cost can easily exceed $30,000 to become a commercial pilot and to be able to make a career in aviation. Many families cannot afford to pay such expenses. We need your help to provide the resources required to fund our scholarship programs. Donate now to help us provide the resources necessary to help these young men and women to pursue their dreams of becoming pilot-in-command of their lives.
