Join us on May 21st for a fascinating presentation by Doug Tomas about the crew of "Ready, Willing and Able."
Doug will be speaking on the results of his research on his great-great-uncle who was a flight engineer on the B-24, “Ready, Willing, and Able”, shot down over northern Italy in WWII in December, 1943. His research turned up some unexpected surprises along the way; corresponding with surviving crew members, a special connection with a B-24 in the National Museum of the US Air Force, all leading to a trip to Italy for a special dedication in December, 2011, and continuing surprising finds.
Social "hour" begins at 6:30, the presentation begins at 7:00 at the Chapter building, 3333 Green Bay Rd. in Racine.
